Add a loan or credit facility when you want to track what you owe, the balance remaining, and the repayments you make over time.
What to enter
- Name of the loan or credit facility
- Balance or principal amount
- Currency
- Optional notes such as lender or purpose
How it works
Loans are tracked as liabilities in WonderMoney. They do not change your bank account balance. You can still link an account for context, but the link does not drive the loan balance.
Common mistakes
- Entering a payment as a new loan.
- Using a goal instead of a liability entry.
- Expecting the loan record to reconcile itself to bank transfers.
